King's funding for Andrew not to be used for legal action against police Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor has been told that the allowance given to him by King Charles should not be used to fund his legal action against Thames Valley Police. The King uses his own private money to support his brother and to accommodate him on his estate in Sandringham. But a royal source said that this funding should not be used for a legal challenge being launched by Mountbatten-Windsor against the search warrants issued ahead of his arrest in February. The former Prince Andrew was arrested on suspicion of misconduct in public office, in the wake of information that emerged from the Epstein files in the United States. Mountbatten-Windsor has consistently denied any wrongdoing linked to his association with Epstein.

Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor is taking legal action against Thames Valley Police over his arrest in February. The former Prince Andrew was arrested on suspicion of misconduct in public office, in the wake of information that emerged from the Epstein files in the United States. Mountbatten-Windsor's lawyers are said to be challenging the search warrants used in Sandringham and at Royal Lodge in Windsor relating to his arrest, as first reported by the Telegraph. Thames Valley Police confirmed: We are engaged in legal proceedings in relation to warrants previously obtained from the Central Criminal Court. As these legal proceedings are currently ongoing, it would be inappropriate for us to comment further, a spokesperson for the force that carried out the arrest said.

A man has been charged after allegedly threatening Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor during an incident near his home on the Sandringham Estate in Norfolk. Norfolk Police earlier said a man was arrested shortly after 19:30 BST on Wednesday after officers received a report of a man a behaving in an intimidating manner in Wolferton. The Daily Telegraph reported Mountbatten-Windsor was threatened by a balaclava-clad man while out walking his dogs and fled to his car along with his security. Alex Jenkinson, 39, of Stowmarket, Suffolk, has been remanded in custody and is due to appear at Norwich Magistrates' Court on Friday. Police said he has been charged with two counts of using threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour to harass someone or cause alarm or distress and failing to provide a specimen of blood in custody.
